Dis a lot of work getting this recert. There are two decks and they are kind of a standard type generation 1 cassette. 2 head and dolby-B manual tape select makes these deck gen 2 see it here
I went through the process of recertifying the Akai GXC-40D Cassette deck. Even though this is a Generation 1 deck and is not currently in the system, it is the only deck that is ‘as factory built’ so this ‘recert’ is really only a verification.
I have added Standards [for connecting test instruments] under the Test section of the website. All Standards will be placed in the section – It will be Test – Standard – Method. There are referances to the sources in the article Also Tape Speed [Cassette] only so far
Needed to get the Qview Imaging Test written since we have referred to it often in these pages. There is a link to get the product on that page also
Started putting in the Menu Structure for the Open Reel pages – looks okay check here
Added the page about the Fluke being a system standard. This meter is used as a precision calibration referance in the system.
