Just got done with the article about recertifying a JVC TD-W709 Compact Cassette Deck. It’s a nice machine we found on auction, and it also had never been opened up or adjusted. This is always a plus for me. But wait it was being sold for parts because it didn’t work correctly. Turned out to be a loose ribbon wire connection. Still every once in a while it hiccups, but what the heck it has personality.
