Open Reel TEAC Level Set Standard Tape
After testing on several machines and comparisons made with the computer T-100 system, we have decided that the TEAC Level Set Tape is the system standard for setting playback levels. Below is the information.
The Teac YTT-5001 A is a test tape used for calibrating Dolby systems1. Here are some key details about the YTT-5001 A test tape:
- Signal Level: The YTT-5001 A test tape has a signal level of 0 dB (185 nWb/m)2.
- Frequency: The test tape typically contains a 400 Hz full track test tone1.
- Use: This tape was specifically designed for calibrating the Dolby AN-80 NR unit from the TEAC corporation1. It can also be used to calibrate other Dolby systems1.
At the present time i have no other information on ths tape than what is shown on the label itself. I do have a TEAC AN-180 user manual and the unit. That system is detailed on another page.
